CHRISTOPHER DODDS PHOTOGRAPHY

UPCOMING TOUR AT KAINGO:

Zambia South Luangwa Photographic Safari with professional photographers Christopher Dodds and Greg du Toit, October 28th to November 9th, 2012 including three nights at Kasanka for the Straw Fruit Bat migration

As a full-time freelance photographer, Christopher Dodds leads photography workshops & safaris and teaches photography, specializing in nature and birdlife. His work has been published the world over in first-class publications including National Geographic.

At the age of eight, Chris moved with his family from England to Canada, and subsequently discovered the great Canadian wilderness while camping as a boy scout and with his family, and going on canoe and backpacking trips. He developed a true love for the outdoors, and by fourteen Chris was passionate about photographing birds and studying their intricate beauty. Chris’ love for photography followed different paths, such as studio portraiture, photojournalism and commercial and wedding photography. He apprenticed in color and black & white chemical darkrooms, but is now embracing the computerized, digital world of camera-work. Chris is dedicated to shooting images of nature in an artistic, yet technically perfect, way.

Nowadays, Chris can be found in the best locations in the world photographing for assignments,  leading nature photography workshops and safaris, and he particularly enjoys lecturing amateur and professional photographers. His work is published regularly.
