After a lovely sundowner at the bottom end of Fish Eagle Lagoon we headed back to where we had previously seen the Hollywood pride early that afternoon.
When we caught up with them again they were on a mission and quickly spread into formation to surround a group of puku under the cover of darkness. It wasn’t long before we heard the distress call of a young male puku who had been caught by a member of the pride.
The whole pride then piled in and began to feed. It wasn’t long before the majority of the kill had been consumed as a puku does not go far when there are so many mouths to feed.
