We all had a sleepless night at Mwamba last night because lions were making a lot of noise near the camp.
As we eventually got out of our chalets in the morning we discovered it was a mating pair! It was a female from the Mwamba-Kapanda pride, called Tipless (she has lost the black tip at the end of her tail) with one of the Mwamba-Kaingo male (the one with the spotty disease).
It was so nice to see her as none of the Mwamba-Kapanda pride has been seen in a long time. Hopefully in a little while she will give birth to new cubs!
